Minako: Guardian
This is Artemis, the beloved guardian of Minako. He is a talking cat that helps Minako in times of crisis. He becomes human three times in the Manga but never in the Anime, sadly.
A blonde girl is showing off in gym, when a white cat with a crescent mark on his forehead shows up. The blonde girl flips over, and lands on top of the poor white cat. The blonde is Aino Minako, the white cat Artemis. This is the meeting of the two soon to be an unbeatable duo.
Artemis is first seen in his human form in the SuperS series. Minako couldn't transform and was about to fall to her death. Artemis grabs Minako, in an attempt to rescue her. Palla Palla crushes Artemis. Minako cries out and begins to sob. Suddenly she is being pulled up by a human Artemis.
The second time is when all the Senshi become eternal. Artemis, Luna and Diana become humans to lend their powers to Sailor Moon.
The final time is when Tin Nyanko turns Luna and Artemis into humans, showing them for what they really are. Tin Nyanko is filled with spite, calling them traitors of their home planet. She attacks Luna and Artemis, turning them into normal cats.
Artemis is a very lovable character. Artemis was at first fond of Minako but grew to love Luna. Eventually the two even have a daughter named Diana.
