Welcome Welcome to Love, Beauty and Crystals; an Aino Minako and Tsukino Usagi website. Here, Inkie and I have done our best to collect information on the two from the Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon manga. Although we love our shrine dearly, Inkie and I have decided we just can't keep it up. As a parting gift, we've done our best to improve it and create something memorable. It's been three long years and I believe Love, Beauty and Crystals has become something to be a little proud of. We started out a little rough, but we've smoothed out a lot of wrinkles over the years. We had a lot of fun with this and I'm happy with where it ended up. If you want to know more about Love, Beauty and Crystals, feel free to go to the About section. Design It is only fitting that our final layout is organized, easy on the eyes, and... pretty. Nothing big here, except the rollover effects on the menu and the faint katakana background on the headers. I've basically started doing everything that I can with CSS. The menu is s system of uls, lis, and classes. Then I spruced them up with smart rollovers, backgrounds, and some color in the CSS. This layout came easy, without much frustration on the parts of Sinewy or I. We found this picture and knew that we had to use it. After tinkering around in Photoshop, we started thinking about what we actually wanted to do with the image in the layout. On came the series of terrible ideas, that would have looked worse on screen than they had on paper. So I come up with this idea that involves a circle navigation tool, a taller version of that image, and the same content-menu effect. At first, it was all good. Then, I realized how hard it would be to do what I had planned. So the idea was simpled up, and the image made stouter. We weren't sure what to do with the bottom rectangle, but eventually agreed on the title with a soft pattern background. Farewell Thank-you for visiting our webpage, we hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any questions, comments, or anything of the sort feel free to e-mail Inkie or I. We'd appreciate it if you would consider linking us on your webpage, in which case we would link you back. Farewell! |
